A race can be defined as “onward movement.” The COMMUNITY 5K Race has been known as many different things over the years, but it’s always been known as a fundraiser to support onward movement…specifically, a catalyst for movements of reproducing churches relentlessly dedicated to helping people find their way back to God – NewThing.
On Saturday, June 21, 2014, you can run or walk in the COMMUNTY 5K to support NewThing. In doing so, you’ll be empowering church planters around the world to help more people find their way back to God. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit The Forgotten Initiative, a local organization whose mission is to bring joy and purpose to the foster care community.
