I Love It When I Get Notes Like This!

Over the last several days I've had several people share with me the huge life-changing difference that we are making in their lives as a church. COMMUNITY, you are amazing! Below is just one note that we received from a brand new person finding her way back to God. The story behind the note is that her friend came to a COMMUNITY campus for Christmas Eve service and was so moved that after the service she immediately called her friend and brought her to the very next Christmas Eve service. It was the beginning of a journey for both in finding their way back to God. Here is part of the note she sent:

"My friend introduced me to Community Christian Church. I have been to many churches of different religions and never before found myself being open and willing to let God in my life. From the first moment I walked into COMMUNITY I was overwhelmed with a sense of joy and love. I now want my children and I to build a relationship with God. I am so happy to be here and grateful for my friend opening my eyes and my heart."

COMMUNITY had a record number of people at our Celebration Services during the month of January. We had 300+ more people every weekend finding their way back to God than last year! Each one of those 300 people is someone's friend, family member, neighbor or co-worker who matters to God!

As we move toward the Easter season we have a great opportunity to reach out to our friends with the good news of Jesus. For whom are you praying? Who will you invite to COMMUNITY? If you respond to this email with the name of the person you are praying will find their way back to God I will add them to my list and join you in praying for them.I love this church!
