Jumpstreet this May
Hello parents! This May we have a great series for our Jumpstreet preschoolers and Kindergartners about doing what is right!
In Kids' City we love to introduce preschoolers to God’s story and helps them build a spiritual foundation on His truth. Each week, you will find an engaging, interactive and relevant telling of one of the stories found in the Bible as well as introductory and wrap up sketches connecting that story to a preschooler’s world. Many of our campuses use a short video like the one here to reinforce the story and application. If you've heard your children talk about Owlie or Zach, you'll want to check this out.
Join us for Easter in Jumpstreet!
This month we'll learn about and celebrate Easter all month long! Each week in April we'll be gaining a better understanding of Jesus' life and death on the cross. For some preschoolers, this may be their first time learning about our amazing friend Jesus.
In Jumpstreet we'll be focusing on how Jesus is my good friend. We'll help preschoolers understand that Jesus is always with them and loves them no matter what. April 7/8, Easter weekend, will be an important Kids' City experience as kids hear the Easter story in a kid friendly and meaningful way. You can watch a special behind the scenes view of what we'll be teaching your Jumpstreet child here. We look forward to seeing your preschooler in Kids' CIty on Easter and all month long.
Uptown and Club 45 kids, come celebrate Easter with us!
This coming weekend is Easter, and your elementary child will want to join us in Kids' City for a kid friendly fun time. Our theme this month is Puzzled: Believing There's a Bigger Picture. In all of our lives, there are times when we can only see one piece of what's going on, and it can be hard to picture something good coming out of it. As we get ready to celebrate Easter, we'll define HOPE as believing that something good can come out of something bad. No matter what your child is facing now or in the future, we in Kids' City pray that they will always know that Jesus is their hope, no matter what. We look forward to having your child join us as we look at five different Bible stories focusing on Jesus and some of the people who kn Read More…
Child Dedications ~ Mother's Day Weekend
"Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
Your child's first glimpse of spiritual community is in your own home. As a parent, you are the first impression of God that your child gets. It's an awesome responsibility and privilege - one that we at COMMUNITY support through our Child Dedication Service.
The Child Dedication experience provides parents of infants and young children a formal, public opportunity to dedicate their children to the Lord. During this service, parents affirm their own faith in Jesus Christ and promise to model and teach that faith to their children. At the same time, the church body agrees to walk alongside parents and hold them accountable.
