Child Dedications

We are excited to announce that Child Dedications will take place on Sunday, March 25th at the Lincoln Square Campus during the celebration service. This is a special time when parents and families have the opportunity to publicly express their desire to raise their child in a way that is pleasing to God. 

Parents are encouraged to attend the Child Dedication Class which will be held on Sunday, March 11th at 11:30am in room 108.  To dedicate your child or if you have questions, please fill out an information card located at the Welcome Table or email Kim DiPadova at kimdipadova@communitychristian.org. 

Get Your 2011 Giving Statements Online

We're excited to announce that 2011 giving statements are now available online! If you gave to COMMUNITY in 2011, you'll want to login to our website to download a statement of all your generous contributions to our mission last year. You can view your entire giving history and even download a PDF file of the entire year for tax purposes. If you already have an account, just log in and verify your email address. Celebration Generosity is truly a celebration! As COMMUNITY attenders, we have made a tremendous impact in the lives of people all over the world through our generous support of the teams that make up this event. Parents go Orange!

Hey Parents!  We are super excited about our transition to the Orange curriculum.  One of the things that we love about it is all of the resources for parents!  We believe that YOU are the greatest spiritual influence in your child's life.  In order to take on this great responsibility of leading your child spiritually we hope that you will take advantage of the wonderful resources that we have to support you in that.  If you have a Jumpstreet child (age 3 - kindergarten) you should have received a placemat when you picked your child up from Kids' City.  It is our hope that you will use this to have spiritual conversations with your child during the week.  We also have a Parent Cue sheet that you can downl Read More…

Missional Story: A Generous Small Group

Victor Hernandez leads a Small Group of Spanish-speakers.  Many of the people in this group found their way back to God at another COMMUNITY Christian Church campus and are now attending Lincoln Square.  Last month I (Tammy) visited with this group and was so encouraged by how they are sincerely striving to live out their role in the Jesus mission.  They told me that this past year they felt led to start collecting an offering at their Small Group.  I asked them to share a bit of their story:
