Connect Story | Ken Jernberg
Small Groups are the backbone of our community here in Lincoln Square. We asked Ken Jernberg to share his story about connecting in a Small Group:
I was involved with Small Groups at my previous church in the suburbs before moving to the city and attending COMMUNITY Lincoln Square. After going to a few services and liking the feel of the church and the friendliness of the people, I had the opportunity to have coffee with Tammy. During our conversation Tammy mentioned the Small Groups at COMMUNITY and asked if I would be interested in becoming part of one. Prayer Walk | June 9th
Prayer is a mysterious and powerful thing. We don't always understand it, but God asks us to do it and somehow is able to work in amazing ways through it. During the month of June, we're launching several new prayer initiatives at our church including a prayer walk scheduled for Sunday, June 9th at 6:30pm. During the walk, we'll split up into pairs and spend some time walking around the Lincoln Square neighborhood, praying silently or out loud (your choice!) for the people in our community and the impact of our church. Never tried this before? That's OK. Meet at the fountain at Giddings Plaza and we'll give some quick instructions on what to do. We'll plan to walk for 1/2 hour and then meet back at Paciugo's in the plaza for some gelato and Read More…
Beyond Ordinary | May 30th

At this one of a kind event, Justin and Trisha will take us inside the slow fade that occurred in their own marriage—each telling the story from their own perspective. As authors, parents, and church leaders; they bring a perspective you won't want to miss. Together, they reveal the mistakes they made, the work they avoided Read More…
