Beyond Ordinary: Guest Speakers on May 25/26
On the weekend of May 25/26, the Yellow Box is excited to have Justin and Trisha Davis speak at the Yellow Box. They will challenge us to consider the question, how safe is your marriage? The answer may surprise you. The biggest threat to any marriage isn’t infidelity or miscommunication. The greatest enemy is ordinary. Ordinary marriages lose hope. Ordinary marriages lack vision. Ordinary marriages give in to compromise. Ordinary is the belief that this is as good as it will ever get. And when we begin to settle for ordinary, it’s easy to move from “I do” to “I’m done.”
Justin and Trisha Davis know just how dangerous ordinary can be. They will take us inside the slow fade that occurred in their own marriage—each tellin Read More…
Set Up a Recurring Gift Online
It is hard to fathom that summer is almost here. As the weather warms up, we know that many families will take the opportunity to vacation throughout the summer. Historically, our attendance as a church drops during the summer months and our giving tends to follow suit. At the same time, we intend to break ground this summer at the Yellow Box. We are very excited about this new opportunity and we cannot afford to fall behind in our giving. I would love to encourage you to set up a recurring gift online this summer so that you are able to fuel the mission of Jesus even in your absence. You can do so by going to givenow.cc. Thank you in advance for your commitment to the Jesus Mission. Read More…

Join Hands of Hope Team
The Hands of Hope Ministry at the Yellow Box is an opportunity for people to volunteer in a variety of ways. One of these is the Visitation Team, and we are looking for volunteers to join this Team and share their gifts of caring compassion. This Team responds to requests from patients or their families to visit the patient - usually in a local hospital or rehab facility. Since most people are in and out of the hospital relatively quickly any more, the visitation opportunities are usually only over a few days, but may be more if the hospital or rehab facility stay is longer term. Most often the Team member makes one or possibly two short visits to talk, comfort and pray with the CCC attendee who is in the hospital. I Read More…

New Series Begins at COMMUNITY - Identity Theft
Join us at a COMMUNITY location this weekend as we take a look at our Identities as Christ-followers in a new five-week series called Identity Theft. When you become a Christ-follower, whether you realized it or not, your identity changed. Its when you don't embrace or forget your identity in Christ that your true Identity is being stolen from you. Christ has a life for you that He wants you to embrace and over the next five weeks, we will use the story of Joseph in the Bible and examples from his life to show how he embraced his identity. We will look at five key areas: Alien, Servant, Missionary, Overcomer and our Spiritual Family, and at the end of this series, we will all have a clearer understandin Read More…
