A fun and interactive family baptism class where children (K-5th grade) learn about following Jesus through a personal relationship and ultimately a public decision through baptism. We will help parents talk to their children to decide if they understand and are ready to make a commitment.
Who is it for? Elementary age kids and their parents/guardian

Here at Community we don't think that church is a once a week activity. We want to encourage you to build your relationship with Jesus and other Christ followers throughout your week.You have probably heard us talk about the importance of Small Groups. If you are not part of a group yet, then we encourage you to talk to Scott Knollenberg about what groups are available. If you are looking for areas where you can get involved helping others through small group experiences, then check out these opportunities.

Shoe, Clothing and Kitchen Item Collection
As part of our continued partnership with Stuff for the Poor during Celebration Serve we will be doing a collection on May 6.
This time we will be collecting: Shoes, Clothing, Kitchen Utensils, Pots and Pans, Small Appliances, Cups, Bowls, and Plates. All items must be in good and clean condition.
Items collected will be sold to a broker in Africa. Proceeds will fund orphan education in Uganda and Haiti.

Romeoville Pre-Mother's Day Event
The Single Parent Ministry and The Romeoville Campus Choir are partnering to host a Pre-Mother's Day Event for ALL the ladies on Friday, May 4th at the CAC at 7 PM. The night will include a movie, relaxation, chocolate fountains and special guest, Jennifer Barrett singing, "The Mom Song", along with free childcare!

Romeoville VBS Volunteer Meeting
This summer we'll have our first VBS here at Romeoville and we could not be more excited about it! But long before we roll out the celebration and songs, we've got some work to do. We need YOU to join the team doing the behind the scenes work to create an outstanding VBS for the children of our church and community.
Please come to our first informational meeting on May 20th (Sunday) at 12:30 at the Children & Arts Center to learn more about the many volunteer roles we have, and learn more details about the VBS (happening Aug. 5-9, 6-8:30 pm).
