SERVICE CELEBRATION A SUCCESS!
The early word is "Success"! We successfully pulled off 25 different service projects in our community this morning.
That's right, instead of all gathering for a Celebration Service inside our building, we divided and served 25 different organizations from schools, to villages, to park districts and not-for-profits. In total, 500 adults, students and children signed up to serve and did an incredible job!
Project Leader Dave Cantway who led a team to serve one elderly resident in our community said, "Ed was very happy that we came to help out and was so touched that we did all that work for nothing. Service Celebration Giving
Thank you to everyone who gave online leading up to Service Celebration. This week was one of our largest online giving weeks in our church history! Additionally many sent the Service Celebration giving envelops to the church throughout the week. Thank you for taking the steps to minimize our risk by not taking an offering during Service Celebration weekend. Your contribution allows us to continue to take similar risks in the future.

Junior High Camp 2012
July 20-24 at Wonderland Camp in Camp Lake, Wisconsin
Junior High Camp is a 5-day experience designed to help students connect with God and each other. The camp has many great activities such as climbing tower, zip line, canoes, archery, campfires and much more. Camp participants must be entering grades 6-8 in Fall 2012.

Help us get Zapped this Summer at VBS!
Kids' City is getting ready to be Zapped this summer and we need your help. Zapped is the theme for this year's Vacation Bible School for children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. During the week, we'll be following the life of Peter and learning how he plugged into God's power. Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas including, small group leaders, snack team, environmental design team, craft team, security team and more. June 3 is Kids' City Move Up Weekend
As the summer winds start to blow and school comes to a close, it's time for our annual Move Up in Kids' City. Children going into 1st grade in the Fall will move up to Uptown in the north building, 2nd graders in the Fall will move across the hall and 4th graders in the Fall will move to Club 45 in the same hallway. If you have questions, please talk to your Kids' City leader.
Kindergarten kids get ready to move to Uptown
It's almost time for our Kindergarten kids to go from Jumpstreet to Uptown and time for our annual move up orientation on Sunday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m. in Room 9. Kindergarten families please join us as we celebrate your children and take a sneak peek of where they will be and what they will be doing in Uptown.
