New Shorewood Women's Beth Moore Study

Please join us as we study the book of Esther in Beth Moore's new study, "Esther, It's Tough Being a Woman" beginning January 5, 2009." If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today. Beth peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to us. This portion of God's Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried and pressured lives." This small group meets on Monday morning at 9:30 AM. alt This Shorewood Vocal Ensemble was designed to lead worship for the Shorewood celebration services. Musical selections range from artists like Israel Houghton to Hillsong United. Practice is at home or in your car by a provided CD and rehearsal is at 3pm on December 24th (Christmas Eve Service) and at 7am on January 11th (Celebration Service). Baptism Class for Students

Are you a student thinking about Baptism? Student Community is a place where we provide lots of challenges and opportunities for you to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ. Baptism is a public celebration of that relationship. It is an exciting and important chapter in your story with God. If you are interested in exploring if Baptism is the next step for you, please contact Tim Raad, Shorewood Campus Student Community Director at 630-209-8630. StuCo Baptism classes are held several times a school year based on demand. Parents – if you have questions regarding your student and Baptism please feel free to contact me to get a copy of the StuCo Baptism Booklet.
