Parents go Orange!
Hey Parents! We are super excited about our transition to the Orange curriculum. One of the things that we love about it is all of the resources for parents! We believe that YOU are the greatest spiritual influence in your child's life. In order to take on this great responsibility of leading your child spiritually we hope that you will take advantage of the wonderful resources that we have to support you in that. If you have a Jumpstreet child (age 3 - kindergarten) you should have received a placemat when you picked your child up from Kids' City. It is our hope that you will use this to have spiritual conversations with your child during the week. We also have a Parent Cue sheet that you can download here. This is designed for you to reinforce what your child has learned in Kids' City and have conversations during the week about that Big Idea. This month they are learning through a variety of Bible stories that Jesus can do anything!
Parents of an elementary age child (1st - 5th grade) we have something really cool for you!! If you have a smart phone you can download the Parent Cue App here. This app will provide you with promptings during the week to engage with your kids spiritually. It also helps you to reinforce the Big Idea that your child has learned in Kids' City. This is a fun interactive way to lead your child in their relationship with Jesus. We, in Kids' City, are doing all that we can to support you as the parent and our dream is that you will join us in this partnership as we do everything that we can to help our kids learn the story of Jesus and help them to become more like Him.
