An Important Announcement About the School for the Arts

It's been a wonderful year at School for the Arts. We've enjoyed and celebrated recitals, dance competitions and public performances. We've welcomed new students and grown our veterans. As we look back on this year, we also look ahead to the future; and as we do, I wanted to let you know about some important changes.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my involvement with School for the Arts. I've spent countless hours not only teaching but also directing this exciting program of helping people find their back to God through arts education. Summer Semester 2011

Through much conversation and prayer with our staff leadership, we at SFTA have elected to use the summer semester as a sabbatical time. We will not hold private lessons or classes for the summer semester, so that we may devote that time to fully evaluate our plans for the fall.Our teachers are aware of this and can answer any questions that you may have regarding options for your students for the summer. Classes canceled Tuesday and Wednesday

All COMMUNITY School for the Arts classes are canceled for Tuesday, Feb 1 and Wednesday, Feb 2 due to inclement weather. For questions, please contact Christine Tuck at christinetuck@communitychristian.org

School For the Arts Fall 2010 Information

Open registration for the fall semester is available now. This semester we will be offering private music lessons and dance classes.  For information, contact Christine Tuck.


Private Lessons

This semester, School for the Arts will offer private lessons Monday through Friday, 2 PM - 8 PM.  Lessons meet for 30 minutes once a week and price varies depending on what program you register for - semester or conservatory. 

  • Semester program: 16 week commitment / $21 per lesson
  • Conservatory program:  35 week commitment / $20 per lesson

We offer private lessons in piano, all guitars, drums, voice, woodwinds and brass.  Our goal is to assign you a date and time that works best with your schedule but also the best teacher match for
