We love helping people find their way back to God. And there's nothing more exciting than hearing a story of someone who's life has changed as a result. Here are some of our favorite stories.
I got into alcohol, drugs, self-harm, an eating disorder, guys, and pretty much everything except God. Then I came to Community Christian Church and I saw the statement, ‘helping people find their way back to God’ and thought ‘oh, that’s me!’ So, I gave up all the quick fixes and instant gratification. I gave up my broken heart and trying to fill that void with everything but the love of Christ. I started over. And I want everyone to know that with Jesus, I’m not giving up. CCC totally helped me find my way back to God.

When we moved to the area I didn’t know anyone. I’m outgoing, but it was scary even for me. When I came to Community Christian Church there were lots of students my age and they were really cool. It was through Student Community that I felt really comfortable and became closer and closer to God. I really feel like CCC has helped me find my way back to God.

We were searching for something more and worried about our children and how we should raise them. When we started attending Community Christian Church we loved it right away. It was joyful and refreshing to hear the Bible taught in such a practical way. Our lives are so much different now. Our marriage is stronger. We are doing a better job of parenting. Mostly, we are changed by knowing how much God loves us. We credit CCC with helping us find our way back to God.

I had very little church experience before. When doctors found a spot on my wife's lung, I felt devastated that I couldn't help her. I needed somebody else, so I made a pact with God that I would attend church. Walking into the church, I felt comfortable because the people were so nice. The message hit me right between the eyes. It filled a hollow spot in my life. All in all, my life has changed. Before, I wouldn't think of giving time for someone else. I had to do my thing. All of a sudden, it isn't my thing at all anymore. It's God's thing.

I think Kids’ City is really cool and so much fun! I like the large group time because we get to dance and the classes because we do a fun craft and talk about what we learned. One of my friends came with me to Community Christian Church and she told me she loves Kids’ City too! I’m really happy that I’m a part of Kids’ City.
