In prayer, we worship and are moved by the Spirit to be generous as we ask expectantly for God to BREAKTHROUGH.

In order to be faithful to our calling and to maximize the opportunities that God has opened up to us, we as a church are launching a new initiative that we are calling “BREAKTHROUGH.” Together, over the next three years we will challenge one another to go above and beyond our regular giving to make way for God’s BREAKTHROUGH in PEOPLE, PLACES, and PLANTS.

Emerging leaders and leadership residents

Artists and Songwriters

Students

Investing and expanding the impact at our locations:

Acquiring 24/7 homes for Lincoln Park and Downers Grove

Making building improvements to Naperville and Plainfield

Assessing the options for a new 24/7 location for Montgomery

Funding outreach or facility improvements for all locations

Launching Community Online

Investing and expanding the impact by planting churches:

Chicago church plants

Community Freedom plants in prisons

Commitment Sunday took place on November 17, 2019

On that day we are asked everyone to commit to an amount for the next three years above and beyond your normal giving and bring a one-time gift.
