To those of you who know you’ll be returning to in-person services – if you are not currently serving on one of our ministry teams, but would like to, simply click below and one of our Staff Team members will reach out to you about where and how you can be a part of the re-opening team.
Early on in the pandemic, we established three values that would guide our decisions:
- Mission: Helping people find their way back to God.
- Safety: We prioritize the well-being of our people and communities; it is the first way we can demonstrate love.
- Adaptability: God’s church is by design flexible and can thrive in any context.
We will continue to be guided by these values.
Currently and once we re-open, here are activities that will be ongoing:
We will continue to meet through Community Online at home, individually or with our families (even after we return to in-person services). Learn more about our Online Services here.
We can continue to experience Community Online through watch parties. A Watch Party is a group of people who meet online or in-person to experience a service together. This is a great opportunity for small groups to get together and invite friends and neighbors to join! To learn more about hosting a watch party, click here.
We are continuing to connect online or in-person in Small Groups. We recently started our Winter Term of Small Groups, but it’s not too late to get connected! Click here to get help in finding a small group.
Students will continue to connect in small groups. If you have a 6th through 12th grader that would like to get connected in a small group, get them signed up now at communitychristian.org/stuco.
Kids will continue to connect online in small groups. Kids’ City has online small groups during the 9:15 and 10:30am Celebration Services. So, parents, if you would like your child (preschooler – 5th grade) get connected in a Kids’ City small group click here!
We can continue to serve our community! We have launched 15 Community Cares teams with more than 450 volunteers and we are hoping to expand Community Cares to serve our local schools this coming year. Learn more here
