We believe that food is a right and not a privilege. Food insecurity is a public health concern having a medical, educational, and economic impact on our community. By actively reducing food insecurity, we are improving the health of our community for all of us.

Community Cares is partnering with Loaves and Fishes to provide a curbside food assistance distribution site that serves both DuPage and Will Counties. Pre-pack grocery packs will be handed out every week on Tuesdays from 4-6pm at the Plainfield Location, 24035 W Riverwalk Ct, Plainfield, IL 60544.

We are in need of volunteers to help us distribute food every week!  If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up below.
