helping people find their way back to God
When are the services?
Our services are Sundays at 9:30 and 11 AM.
Where are you located?
We are located at 131 Montgomery Road, Montgomery, IL 60538 (0.7mi west of the intersection of Douglas Road & Montgomery Road).
Welcome to COMMUNITY! Join us for our Sunday celebration services and our small groups during the week for women, men, kids and students. Services last about an hour and always include great music, practical, relevant teaching, and more. Kids’ City (birth through 5th-grade) is a place where your kids can have fun and learn about God. Junior High and High School kids can choose a Small Group to hang out in at our 11 AM service, and there’s a separate StuCo (Student Community) on Wednesday nights from 7-9 PM with games, teaching, small groups, and more! We’d love to meet you to answer your questions and get to know you, so stop by the Welcome Table in our lobby before or after service. Please contact me or our Kids’ City Director Shannon McClure with questions. Find out more about COMMUNITY by downloading the app or joining the enews list. Come visit us – we’d love to meet you!
What kids/students programs do you offer?
Infants through 5th grade
Kids’ City, the children’s ministry here at COMMUNITY, is committed to helping families find their way back to God. We provide fun, age-appropriate, Bible-based activities and teaching for kids every weekend for infants through 5th grade. Every month, we cover one core virtue that shows God’s character in creative and engaging ways. It is reinforced with key Bible stories, a monthly memory verse and additional resources to use at home.
We want kids to know God’s big story and help them discover the active part they can play in this life-long adventure, to be more like Him. For Kids’ City parent resources, click here. For more information, contact Shannon McClure, Kids’ City Director. Kids’ City meets during our normal Sunday service times: 9:30 and 11am.
6th through 12th grade
Student Community (StuCo), our student ministry, is a movement toward helping students find their way back to God. In fact, we believe that StuCo could be the most influential force in our community, so we are set on challenging students to grow in there key relationships: with God on a daily basis, with each other for encouragement and accountability, and with the world to restore God’s dream for all of creation. We do this through weekly gatherings, relational small groups, serving opportunities, and life-changing special events and retreats.
StuCo meets Wednesdays at 7pm. For more information, contact Jordan Bumgarner, Student Community Director.
