COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Naperville

helping people find their way back to God

Join us every Sunday at 9 and 10:45 am. You’ve heard rumors of the “Yellow Box” building and now, you’ve found us! Maybe you've even attended one of the showings from our longstanding musical, Let It Be Christmas. Chris Nichols is our Naperville Community Pastor. He and his team can’t wait to meet you over a cup of hot coffee in the lobby!

Kids’ City meets Sundays at our COMMUNITY locations during adult services.

We’re working to equip our children with a thorough understanding of the Bible, a solid foundation in their identity in Christ, and an unquenchable passion for sharing God’s love with their friends.

Kids’ City helps families find their way back to God by helping parents confidently lead their kids spiritually.  We seek to help kids develop a faith that is their own by teaching them to know that they are loved by God, to love God, and to love others. Your child will have an opportunity to engage in God’s word in exciting and meaningful ways.

Kids’ City provides age-appropriate small groups every Sunday during the adult services. Small groups are where your child can grow in wisdom and stature, and in their relationships with other kids and their small group leader.

StuCo meets locally on Wednesday nights!

The purpose of our Student Community is to help students find their way back to God. We’re working to equip our students in understanding the bible and solidifying their identity in Christ. This is helping them be confident in their faith and be able to articulate what they believe and why they believe it.

We seek to equip students with a faith that is their own and can last them throughout their lives. We want them to live with hearts on fire for Jesus, knowing that they have been created for a purpose and are loved unconditionally by God.

Your student will have an opportunity to engage with God’s word in exciting and meaningful ways through StuCo, which meets on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Every week, students meet for live worship, teaching, and small groups. Small group leaders serve as a support for students and parents.

have any questions?

We want to make sure when you visit COMMUNITY, you know what to expect and feel comfortable!

What is a service like?

Our services are fun, relaxed, and usually last around an hour. They are intentionally designed for wherever you are on your spiritual journey. You will hear one “Big Idea” that is practical and relevant to everyday life. We celebrate what God is doing in our lives by worshiping together and taking communion every week.

Do you have anything for students?

Our Student Ministry is called “StuCo” and it meets on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 PM at our Aurora, Downers Grove, Naperville, Plainfield and Yorkville locations. The goal of StuCo is to come alongside parents and challenge students to grow in their relationship with God. This is done through weekly gatherings, relational small groups, serving opportunities, and life-changing special events and retreats. Additionally, some locations also offer a Sunday morning connection point for students.

Where do you meet?

We are a church of many expressions! If you want to attend in person, we have physical locations across the Chicagoland area in various kinds of facilities that may or may not look like a typical church building – We are also online so you can watch from home, a coffee shop, or with a group of friends.

Do you have anything for kids?

We provide fun, age-appropriate, Bible-based experiences for kids during all of our services for infants through 5th grade. We call it Kids’ City. Your child will learn core virtues that show God’s character in creative and engaging ways, reinforced with key Bible stories, worship music, and a memory verse.

What should I wear?

We are pretty casual around here. You will see everything from jeans and shorts to dresses and business-casual attire. So, wear something comfortable and join us! Our services are also available online so you can even watch from home in your PJs! 😁
