Celebrate the Journey

Everyone has hurts and hang ups. There are broken parts of all of us that God desires to fix. Often, it is this very brokenness that forces us towards emotional and spiritual growth. At Community, we believe that God desires to heal our hurts and help us recover from our hang ups - together, in community.

When we experience hardships in life -- devastation, grief, unexpected loss -- when something like 9/11 happens, or the massacre at Sandy Hook, or the recent Boston Marathon attacks, those feelings and emotions can well up and overtake any semblance of rational thought. And despite our most earnest efforts to capture and hold them, they can threaten to engulf and capsize any container we might try to impose.
