Who is Irma Vep? That's the mystery at the heart of this outrageously funny quick-change play featuring Eric and Elic Bramlett playing eight different characters.. On a "dark and stormy night," Lady Enid arrives at an estate with her new husband, who is under the spell of his deceased first wife and haunted by something that's prowling the grounds. Strange things begin to happen around her and she soon discovers the mystery of Irma Vep, whose portrait hangs over the fireplace. A hilarious comedy that satirizes everything from Hitchcocks Rebecca and Victorian Melodrama to The Mummy's Curse. This Obie-winning gothic spoof was once the most-produced play in America and is considered one of the funniest American plays of the last quarter-century.  Don't miss Epic Theatre Company's performance of The Mystery of Irma Vep at the Naperville Yellow Box Theatre, July 21 - 24 at 7:30 PM.
