Let It Be Christmas is BACK!
Let It Be Christmas is back, and better than ever! If you think you've seen it before, that you've been there, done that think again! You don't want to miss our EPIC production this Christmas season! Last year, we took the show on the road, and traveled to several of Community's campuses with a more scaled-down, concert version of the show. But this year, we are sitting down for two weekends, six shows total, at the Yellow Box in Naperville, so we can return to the fully staged, spectacle version of our most popular and longest running hit musical. You wont want to miss the many changes and additions to this years production: We've added the roles of Elizabeth and Herod to our telling of the nativity story, with new songs like, In My Life and Across the Universe. We have a brand new and extremely talented cast of Shepherds, Angels, and Wise Men, with many faces and voices that will be recognizable from previous years productions. Many new orchestrations have been arranged for the original favorite Beatles tunes. New and improved staging and choreography will delight and entertain your entire family! And, of course, you wont want to miss Renea Taylor and the Romeoville Gospel Choir as they bring the house down with the title song, Let It Be.
Let It Be Christmas is also a great opportunity for you to invite your friends, neighbors, and extended family to church with you, who might be far from God. Its is the perfect mix of the Christmas story and pop culture, and you'll love how well the timeless music of the Beatles is used to tell the greatest story of all time. Let It Be Christmas runs Dec. 9-11, and 16-18 (Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm) and is less than 90 minutes in duration.
