What Kids Learn
Kids' City is the children's ministry at COMMUNITY and we are committed to helping families raise growing 3C Christ-followers so we provide fun and child-centered, Bible-based opportunities for kids to experience the 3C's: Celebrate, Connect, and Contribute. Kids' City offers programming at all services for Infants through 5th Grade.
Every month we cover one BIG IDEA, a core virtue that shows God's character. It is reinforced with key Bible stories, a monthly memory verse and amazing resources to use at home. We want kids to know God's big story and help them discover the active part they can play in this life-long adventure, to be more like Him.
We hope and pray our resources will help equip families to continue spiritual discussions at home. You can pick up resources each weekend that will help your kids apply what they learned!
The monthly BIG IDEA in Kids' City is reinforced by key Biblical principles that appear in every lesson. Our hope is that by the time your child graduates from Kids' City to enter Student Community that these truths will be firmly rooted in their lives:
WiggleWay Truths (Infants-2 year olds)
- God is good.
- Jesus loves me.
- God made me.
Jumpstreet (3 year olds-Kindergarten)
- God made me.
- God loves me.
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Uptown (1st-3rd Grade) and Club 45 (4th-5th Grade)
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
