Leaders Making an Impact
We are blessed in Kids' City with some truly amazing leaders. They take the time to learn who their kids are and find unique ways to make the lesson come alive. We're so thankful for leaders who can look ahead, think through what's being taught and customize it for their kids. On its own, the curriculum is solid, but sometimes just a small adjustment can make the application really stick. It's all about knowing your kids and how they hear and learn the best.
On a recent weekend, a Jumpstreet leader added to the lesson by bringing in a couple of simple prayers to teach the them, so that week on Thanksgiving, some precious little children prayed with and for their families. What an impact that made on the family around the table, and on the esteem of those children.
