About Cross Worship

Cross Worship is a collective of worship leaders based in Cincinnati, OH. Our heart is to reconcile the body of Christ across denominational and racial divides and to worship united as one. Special Guests

John Thompson

John J. Thompson has been championing, challenging, and celebrating faith-based art and artists since he was just a kid. Never satisfied with less than the best, he developed a vision for music, and art in general, that not only functioned at the highest levels creatively, but that struck a resonant chord of truth in his soul. Chasing that resonant chord has become his life’s work. It led him from the trenches of the independent music scene, to an office in one of the largest and most influential music companies in the world, and back again. He is a speaker, author, producer, artist, and music enthusiast and currently serves as the Associate Dean of the Trevecca School of Music and Worship Arts and as a Creative Consultant, Writer, Music Supervisor, and Producer for various publishing companies, independent artists, films, websites, and more.

After years of development in his hometown, Bede and his wife Izzy moved across the globe to join Nashville’s community of writers, at Capitol CMG, while preserving his deep connection to the Harbour City. Bede’s thoughtful worship and modern pop influence can be heard on diverse tracks like Kim Walker-Smith’s “Wild Heart”, “Midnight” by Rita Springer, Cory Asbury’s “Death Where is Your Sting” and “Every Little Thing” from Hillsong Young & Free.
