Our StuCo team waited as long as possible to gather as much information as we could before a final decision was made. We wanted to take everything into account to make the wisest decision considering the safety and health of every student and leader at StuCo.

With that in mind, we feel that it is in the best interest of everyone to cancel our 2020 Summer Camp plans at Silver Birch Ranch for this summer.

Prioritizing the safety of our students and leaders is key to this decision. Gathering 700+ people together over the course of nine days does not feel like a wise decision at this time. This was obviously not plan A and not an easy decision to make, but safety is the most important thing for all of our students and leaders. We are working hard to formulate plans for possible alternative options this summer and potentially even into the fall.

Our team will continue to communicate over the coming weeks through email, but you can stay updated by joining, following and subscribing to StuCo Online on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. You can also reach out to our team directly by emailing stuco@communitychristian.org.

SUMMER 2021 Dates TBD

About Middle School Camp

StuCo Summer Middle School Camp is for those entering 6th – 8th grade in Fall 2021 and provides students a safe place to make friends, be themselves, and participate in many fun activities. More importantly, though, it’s a place where students can develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Students attend sessions in the morning and evening for times of celebration and teaching. We also offer breakout sessions geared toward issues that Middle School students face in their everyday lives.

Afternoons are designed for relationships to be built between students and leaders. Together they can enjoy activities such as horseback riding, swimming, rock climbing, riding the zip line, water-tubing, playing 4-Square or Carpet Ball, enjoying a snack with friends at the Canteen, the Craft Room, boating, archery, and much, much more.

StuCo Summer Camp is the perfect week for middle school students to make their faith their own.

HIGH SCHOOL CAMP
TBD SUMMER 2021

For students entering grades 9-12 and 2021 graduates

Summer 2020 Camp has been canceled

Leaders, contact your StuCo director for a code to register.

About High School Camp

StuCo High School Camp is for students entering grades 9-12 in the Fall of 2021 and for any 2021 graduates. Camp provides students a safe place to create relationships and find clarity and contentment in a relationship with Christ that compels them to live on purpose.

Students attend sessions in the morning and evening for times of worship and teaching. We also offer cabin discussions focused on issues that High School students face in their everyday lives.

The High School Track is a little less programmed than the Middle School Track and gives students the flexibility to make their camp experience their own. Outside of the regular camp activities such as horseback riding, swimming, water-tubing, water-skiing, boating, and riding the zip line, campers can also participate in various tournaments (basketball, volleyball, soccer, dodgeball, chess, bags, etc.) and have the opportunity to go on a special whitewater rafting trip down the Wolf River (for an additional fee).

StuCo Summer Camp is a great week to reflect on one’s life away from daily distractions, and dig into relationships with other people and with Jesus Christ.
